Irish Ruins | Ireland | Travel Photography

Playing around with some editing techniques from an image I toke on a visit back home to Ireland. This was shot at the monastery of Clonmacnoise which is situated in County Offaly, Ireland on the River Shannon south of Athlone. Clonmacnoise was founded in 544 by St. Ciarán, a young man from Rathcroghan, County Roscommon. Being a Winnipeg wedding photographer living away from home, family and friends I always love to get back home either in person or through some of the images I have shot over the years. If you are ever in Ireland this is a wonderful place to go and visit.
