What's in my camera bag - Fujifilm X30

A lot of photographers think that if they buy a better camera they’ll be able to take better photographs. A better camera won’t do a thing for you if you don’t have anything in your head or in your heart.

I am always asked via social media and in photography conversations what camera/cameras I use to create my work. I decided what better way than to show you so I got together a setup in the studio and photographed some of my favorites. I am not a product photographer, so excuse the dust particles. I will have to keep this an ongoing post as I update images and add new cameras and gear to my collection. Firstly I will start the my awesome retro compact Fujifilm X30. This is without a shadow of a doubt my number one go to location scouting and travel camera. I love how Fuji went back to the old film look and feel to their compact digital cameras. It's an impressive compact camera that captures high quality images. I have managed to capture some fantastic shots with this gem of which prints are hanging around the world. If you are interested in the full specs have a look at Fujifilm's X30 site, where you can see more images and full specs for this little beauty. I take this camera almost all the time when out and about, the X30 ticks a whole load of boxes for me. I am primarily a Nikon shooter but the menu and user interface system on the X30 is simple and I was able to quickly learn how to operate the camera and access all the relevant settings. I love the X30!!!
